Third Day Pics..Rousillon and Gordes.

Sidenote...scroll down to see pictures from days 1 & 2...

Ok, the third day, we are in Avignon, France. This days excursion included visting the villages of Rousillon and Gordes. (Pronounced "Roo-sa-lawn" and well, "Gordes"). Scoll down to the post "Why do they use Celsius" to learn more... Here are the pics...(By the way, you can click on each picture to enlarge it)...

For some reason, I cant figure out how to rotate the pic within the post, so turn your computer around. As you can see, every building in this village of Rousillon is a reddish-orange color. Truly spectacular.

Kim is standing in front of an actual door that was hand painted in the village.

And again...

Nicole with the same view...

Here is the famous pharmacie....this is not the one Kim showed her talent of acting out the "do you have a straightener" though. That was in Nimes, unfortunately, didn't get a picture of that.

Ok, so after touring Rousillon, it was time to board the coach and visit the village of Gordes. Unfortunately, when we got into Gordes, we ended up leaving the camera on the bus. Can you say idiots?? But we did manage to stop at the top before going into the village to get a few pics....

Here we are on top of the mountain overlooking the village of Gordes.

Look at that scenery...

and one last time...

Ok, so we didn't get any pictures inside the village of Gordes. Gordes, however, was much smaller than the village of Rousillon, but both villages were very unique. Numerous restaurants, shops, and cathedrals are within each village.

Ok, keep checking back for the next set of pics, they do keep getting better, we promise!

Till next time,
